I got my first university degree and PhD in Chemistry in Barcelona, Spain between 1991 and 2003.
1996: Licenciatura en Química (IQS, Universitat Ramon Llull).
1997: Enginyer Químic IQS (IQS, Universitat Ramon Llull).
2003: Doctor en Química (IQS, Universitat Ramon Llull).
For those who don't know much about the Spanish university structure, I would say that a 'Licenciatura' is 5-year university program that can be accessed after high school. It is more domain-oriented and so less generalistic than a bachelor degree in the US.
I have lately got a second degree in Education (Licenciatura en Pedagogia) in Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (the Spanish national distance learning university). I started in 1998 and finished in 2010.
